From Retta's camera

Navy Pier was way cool! Snapped some pic of these young saliors they prob. though I was nutty!

The bean was a highlight! LOL

I'll tell ya I was a little worried about taking a trip with a group of people I have never met. This was a fantastic experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I really enjoyed meeting everyone and wish I could have gotten to know you guys better....I hated that when I finally started to relax it was time to leave :(. I really hope to do it again in the future. Thanks to Kristi for setting up the show It was truly amazing!!!!! Here are a few photos...

My turn...

I knew the trip would be fun, but I never imagined it to be as much fun as it was...wow! I made new connections and feel like I came away with friendships that will continue over the years. What a great feeling. I was actually surprised that we didn't "need" the photography to get along. We honestly were a bunch of girlfriends hanging out for the weekend. I find myself wanting to plan the next get away and that says alot. Here are my first installment of pics from my POV.

Farrah brought along Joanne's flat Stanley. He's definitely getting around.

Yes...definitely tourists.

We don't see too many D&Ds at home, so we stopped to get a snack.

Waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive.

OMgosh...we think we are so cool.

I LOVE this pic of Toni!!!

Amber getting a fun perspective.

A shot of all of us (I'm taking the pic...whaaaaa.)

The sun is going down.

Time for the nightlife. These two provided a lot of entertainment.

Thought it was appropriate being she's the texture queen and all.

We were the only ones in the whole place, so we solicited some of the staff to pose with us.

Walking back to our hotels to prepare for the next day. Stay tuned.

The rest of my photos (if blogger cooperates!)

On the Navy Pier ferris wheel

Aren't they adorable?!

The "15 minute walk" that took 2 hours! ;)

Oh, I SO need a fisheye!

"Flip your flash up!"
